Chord Ultima integrated

Nothing less than fantastic. All speakers I have hooked up to sound better on Chord than I have managed with even significantly more expensive amplifiers. Some have had more power on, but the presentation has certainly not gotten either more or better sound out.

High gain output which is a special Chord gimmick, but exactly what makes this amplifier something very special. However, it means that it does not work with sensitive speakers that do not need an iron grip (up to 89db sensitivity, but without a lower limit).

Plays absurdly musically and with huge authority and an iron grip on the units. Does not get better and true Chord sound from the top drawer.

Nice full aluminum remote, all original accessories and box. No invoice, but still 3 warranty from Chord on the serial number.

"Rated" power (at 8 ohms: 138 W per channel.
4 ohms: 256 W per channel.
Dynamic power (peak load):
8 ohms: 138 W.
4 ohms: 256 W.
2 ohms: 448 W.
1 ohm: 699 W.
